Our new bedroom!

 

And the livingroom...

And we are moving in in 6 weeks! 

kitchen looks...

The new kitchen will be in the existing dining room in the upper right corner of the appartment.
All the machines will be on the left side, a huge table + work area in the middle.
Togehter with my wonderful Tom Dixon lamps and a worldmap wallpaper on the right wall.

The oak doors will be removed and the opening between living room and the kichen will be wider. 
My vision is contemporary but relaxed style!

What colours would you use in the cupboards and in the table?

choosing floor materials....

Most of the appartment has this beautiful original parquette which just needs to be sanded and polished. Maybe with a littlebit of white pigment in the lacque? 
The bedrooms and the small hall need a new floor material. 
What would you choose together with the parquette?

Suurin osa lattioista on tällaista kaunista parkettia joka pitää hioa ja lakata uusiksi. ajattelin että jopa valkoiseksi sävytettynä. Makkarit ja pikkuhalli tarvitsee kuitenkin uuden lattiapinnan.
Mitä materiaalia suosittelisisit?

the design phase starts

 

Tänään alkaa suunnittelu- ja lupavaihe, maltan tuskin odottaa!!

Kaikki tapahtuu virtuaalisesti arkkitehdin kanssa- hän Suomessa ja me täällä Krabilla.

Vielä ei ole tullut suurempia vaikutteita täältä mutta uskoisin että muutama buddhapatsas kyllä löytää tiensä meidänkin olohuoneeseen! Ja miksei vaikka thai-henkinen kylpyhuone :-)

The design and permissionwork starts today! Im so exited!

Everything is done virtually with the architect, he is in Finland and we are here at Krabi.

I haven´t got yet any bigger influence from this culture but I´m sure that couple of Buddha-statues find their way to our living room. And why not a Thai inspired bathroom??
